This film is a beautiful short documentary film directed, shot, and edited by Hugo Massa with additional cinematography by Ben Derico. Its subject is The Bridge’s 6th exploratory tour, which took place in Chicago from Oct. 28th to Nov. 11th, 2014.

The film follows the visiting musicians’ interactions with Chicago improvisers in places such as The Whistler, The Hungry Brain, or Diasporal Rhythms, then chronicles the week of performances of the original French-American at the heart of the journey:
